Joint Grant for Employees and Employers

Employees and their employers may apply jointly for a grant from the Fund if the cost of the employee's education or training is ISK 200,000 or more. The combined grant covers up to 90% of the tuition fee, up to a maximum of ISK 570,000 (ISK 180,000 from the employee's entitlement and ISK 390,000 from the employer's entitlement), or up to ISK 800,000 if the employee has accumulated grant entitlement (ISK 540,000 in accumulated entitlement plus ISK 260,000 from the employer's entitlement). Applications are assessed in accordance with the Fund's rules governing work-related education and training.
